Lexiq Writer: third-party software notices ========================================== Lexiq Writer compiles LaTeX documents inside your web browser using a WebAssembly build of TeX Live. These programs are separate works, loaded at runtime in an isolated Web Worker, and are distributed under their own licenses: * TeX Live 2023 programs (pdfTeX, XeTeX, LuaHBTeX, BibTeX8, xdvipdfmx, makeindex, kpathsea) and the TeX Live package collection. The engines are licensed mainly under the GNU General Public License, the TeX packages under the LaTeX Project Public License and other free licenses. Source code: https://tug.org/texlive/ and https://github.com/TeX-Live/texlive-source (tag texlive-2023.0). * BusyTeX build scripts and glue (MIT License, Copyright (c) Vadim Kantorov): https://github.com/busytex/busytex. The exact WebAssembly binary we serve is built from BusyTeX commit 4499aa69fd3cf77ad86a47287d9a5193cf5ad993; its complete corresponding source is available from the links above. On written request we will also provide it directly. * Expat, fontconfig, FreeType, HarfBuzz, ICU, libpng, zlib and other libraries statically linked into the TeX engines, under their respective licenses. The Lexiq Writer application itself is proprietary software.
